Word to your moms, I came to drop bombs! The final bomb for today is my new relationship, which I expect everyone to be a little more wary of, if only bc it’s an old dude who even I pre-judged as a typical dirty old man trying to get in my pants when I 1st met him. His name is Harry & he’s as googleable as I am, which is why I’m not tagging him or posting his photo, to protect him from internet scrutiny, but he’s a silver fox, 17 years older than me & I don’t mind admitting publicly that I’m in love with him. He’s a Daddy Dom that I met on FetLife & he scrambled my demisexual brain pretty much from day 1. I was in denial for a bit bc a Daddy Dom seemed antithetical to my strong inner feminist, but the more I learned & experienced that kind of relationship, the more the real me seemed to be revealed outside of him, on my own. Still struggling with the feminist part, tbh, & I expect some to be disappointed in me for this one. But! All this awesome stuff everyone sees me doing the last month & a half is due to this relationship dynamic & Harry empowering me with “Daddy energy” through the stuff we say & do, both kinky & vanilla. It’s the whole package, the whole lifestyle & everything he’s about & has to offer that I’m into. We bring out the best in each other & we both wanna do things together to stay healthy for each other. Every time we’re together, we go for a walk along Barrie’s waterfront or a different waterfront, which, if you know me, would be like pulling teeth for anyone else, but is good for me. I can walk a little further each time! He has me writing a daily gratitude journal for him & it’s changing my thinking! He’s type 2 diabetic & I’m type 1 so we’re talking about cooking together on Sundays so at least 1 meal per week isn’t takeout or frozen bc we have so much stuff we wanna do together, it would suck to get sick & die now! We create art together (shibari) & this week he facilitated my 1st photoshoot with someone I wasn’t related to!
