I installed his new, pink car seat, threw the stroller in the car, packed some snacks and water in Smudge’s travel bag, then we hit the road!

I was hospitalized in the psych ward of the local hospital in March 2006 because I was literally psychotic. That was super fucked up! I remember when it started. My brother was staying with us over Christmas because he wasn’t getting along with my dad and my house was the best option he had for getting distance at the time…
So I had a realization about my bathroom today. It’s so tiny and cramped, and there’s not a lot I can do about it because it’s all like, plumbing and physical space, so as far as decorating, there’s only so much I can do in there before it starts to feel claustrophobic.
I started using a new productivity app called Finch, that’s sort of a cross between Animal Crossing Pocket Camp (RIP *makes sign of the cross*) and Habitica (which is still somehow limping along in all its 2016 lameness), in that it gamifies to-do lists and self-care in a cute way. So far I really like it!
For the past 6 weeks, I’ve had contractors fixing the walls in what will be SunnyGrrrl HQ, and adding all new/more insulation to the whole house, which is a fucking expensive, unfun process, my god. 😭💸
I decided to fuck around with a glass of wine about 2 weeks ago, and pancreatitis all last week into the weekend was me finding out.
We were at Harold’s niece’s wedding last week, where there was a caricature artist, so we got our portraits done. Harold said to me “you could do that!” (not that I need another job, just that I had the skill) and I had to correct him because no I fucking couldn’t!
Just a really quick post to point you in the direction of an ADORABLE YouTube video I just watched, by a girl who looks to be a very young millennial or elder gen Z, who was excited because she just hand-coded her own website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript in 2025. I was excited for her!
Gemini AI ironically told me that Kindle Direct Publishing had been flooded with AI-generated colouring books, so they had to put a cork in publishing that genre outside of Amazon USA altogether. Hmmm…that did not surprise me.
