Just a really quick post to point you in the direction of an ADORABLE YouTube video I just watched, by a girl who looks to be a very young millennial or elder gen Z, who was excited because she just hand-coded her own website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript in 2025. I was excited for her!

She refers to the internet proper – as in, “everything that’s outside of social media” – as the “indie web”, which I love/hate as a term because I’m sorry bb, but that’s just the internet! But whatever! The entire video is exactly what I was trying to say in this post! If she can get more human beings creating content for what I just call “the internet”, then she can call it whatever the hell she wants! Yes! Code a million websites! Go boldly forward! Never straight! 🌐😎👏
